Terms of Service
Effective date: 12 October 2026
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the ReviseMint website and services (collectively, the “Service”) operated by Daniel Mainah (trading as ReviseMint) (“we”, “us”, or “our”). By accessing or using the Service you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. Description of Service
ReviseMint is an online revision platform providing structured course notes and exam-format practice questions for international professional and language-proficiency exams (including but not limited to OET, IELTS, NCLEX, and PTE). The Service is available on a freemium basis — a limited free tier and paid subscription plans.
Important disclaimer. ReviseMint is a study aid only. It does not guarantee exam success, registration, licensure, employment, or any professional outcome. Our content supplements — and does not replace — official exam materials, coaching, or guidance from the relevant examining body (e.g., Cambridge, NMBA, NCBON). Always verify requirements with the official body.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to create an account or purchase a subscription. By using the Service you represent that you meet this requirement. We do not knowingly collect data from persons under 16.
3. Accounts and Security
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at danielmainawaweru@gmail.com if you suspect unauthorised use. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
4. Subscriptions and Payments
Paid subscriptions are billed through Lemon Squeezy (Sold through Link, LLC), our third-party payment processor. By purchasing a subscription you agree to Lemon Squeezy's terms and privacy policy in addition to these Terms.
- Monthly plan: USD $10 / month, renews automatically.
- Annual plan: USD $100 / year, renews automatically.
- Promotional discount codes (e.g. first-20 offer) are limited, one per customer, and cannot be combined.
Cancellations. You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings or by contacting us. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; no pro-rata refunds are issued except where required by law (see jurisdictional rights below).
Refunds. We offer a 7-day money-back guarantee for first-time subscribers. Refund requests must be sent to danielmainawaweru@gmail.com within 7 days of the charge. Nothing in this clause limits statutory refund rights that cannot be excluded by law.
5. Intellectual Property
All content on ReviseMint — including course notes, questions, explanations, and software — is owned by or licensed to us and is protected by copyright and other intellectual-property laws. You may access and use the content for your own personal, non-commercial revision. You may not reproduce, resell, republish, or distribute any content without our prior written consent.
6. AI-Generated Content
Some practice questions and summaries are drafted with the assistance of AI and reviewed by a human editor before publication. We take reasonable care to ensure accuracy, but we cannot guarantee that AI-assisted content is free from error. Do not rely solely on ReviseMint content for clinical decision-making or professional advice.
7. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Share your account credentials or allow others to access your subscription.
- Scrape, crawl, or systematically download content from the Service.
- Reverse-engineer or attempt to extract source code or training data.
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law.
- Upload or transmit malicious code, spam, or harmful content.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any defects will be corrected. This disclaimer applies to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of (or inability to use) the Service, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
Our total aggregate liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the greater of (a) the total amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim or (b) USD $50.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain liability exclusions or caps. Where local law requires a higher standard, those requirements apply instead of the above.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless ReviseMint, its operators, affiliates, and representatives from any claims, liabilities, damages, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your infringement of any third-party rights.
